We had a non-traditional fourth of July celebration. No B-B-Q or watermelon. We went to dinner with some Japanese friends and went swimming in an indoor pool.
We've been here for four years now. I can't believe it. It's the longest I've ever lived anywhere in my life. I need to move the furniture around or paint or something because I'm getting itchy feet.
Reading Inkheart and loving it. Originally written in German. Watched the movie. But the book is better, less suspenseful. Anna likes me to read aloud, but it's a bit old for her. Hubby read Rick Riordan's Lightning Thief and really enjoyed that, but loves the Mysterious Benedict Society by Trenton Stewart. They are middle grade, fantasy. Which is fun.
